The clouds are framed in the background behind the trees in the foreground to highlight their massive size and fluffiness. The treeline is physically close to the viewer's perspective, which magnifies the clouds and places emphasis on the vastness of the sky.
By creating a sunset setting with the building, trees, and clouds, I drew the viewer into the colorful open air sky.
Air is represented through the negative space between the branches. The bright light pours in these spaces and also in beams of light through the leaves themselves.
